AWE
Alive Body, Awake Mind, Empowered Spirit
Alive
Body
Our bodies are the conduits for manifesting our gifts. An ALIVE BODY is one we embrace, nurture, nourish, and revere. Manifesting our potential is made increasingly more viable through a healthy body, so we have the strength and energy to savor life fully.
Pleasure
The human body is the best picture of the human soul. – Ludwig Wittgenstein
How we care for ourselves externally is a reflection of how we feel internally. Our self-care routine and how we adorn ourselves is in direct proportion to our feelings of self-respect, self-worth, and authenticity. We are all worthy and deserving of self-love and care!
Intuition
Intuition will tell the thinking mind where to look next. – Jonas Salk
Intuition is the subtle connection our mind makes to the information our body shares. Beyond our ability to reason, our hearts, energy, and senses connect with truth and provide invaluable insights for decision-making that serves our highest potential. Our bodies do know best!
Rest
Sleep is a hint of lovely oblivion. – D.H. Lawrence
Prioritizing rest through sleep and relaxation is one of the most precious and nurturing gifts we can give ourselves. We all need a balance of energy expenditures and replenishment so we can function at optimal health. This includes a full night of sleep and down time to indulge our delights!
Nourishment
Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food. – Hippocrates
Our daily fuel has the power to energize us, enhance our experiences, and nourish us. Real beauty and strength comes from within: what we eat determines how well we age, our vitality, how well we sleep, and our stamina. Starting with healthy choices is the first step toward reaching our goals!
Movement
To enjoy the glow of good health, you must exercise. – Gene Tunney
Movement increases our vitality and stamina, as well as improving the quality of our sleep and natural instincts. There is a direct link between the circumference of our waistline and our IQ: daily exercise can create new synapses in the brain, thus making us smarter. Get moving, because it’s motivating!
Awake
Mind
By delving into the conscious and unconscious motivations of the human mind, we can cultivate knowledge of human nature. An AWAKE MIND is one of heightened awareness where presence, mindfulness, and creativity thrive, so we use all our faculties to enhance and enrich our lives.
Fearlessness
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there. – Rumi
Our decision-making process hinges completely on expectations of positive and negative outcomes. By shifting our perception, we’re in a position to manifest a new reality of opportunities. Healing and heightened self-awareness are the first steps toward a fearless life!
Non-duality
Nothing so promotes the growth of consciousness as this inner confrontation of opposites. – Carl Jung
Deciphering how the human mind polarizes perception is imperative. When we understand that we’re pure potential and it’s our mind that categorizes and subsequently attaches itself to stimuli, then we’re in an enlightened position to hold paradox from a place of non-attachment. We can rewrite our narrative!
Connection
We are the mirror, as well as the face in it. – Rumi
We know ourselves through our relationships, as the people in our lives offer reflections that inform our self-awareness. Fostering intimacy is the best way to evolve personally and cultivate compassion and empathy for others. We grow through social dynamics of every kind!
Patterns
If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is: infinite. – William Blake
All of the behavioral conditioning, positive and negative, we were taught in childhood carries over into our adulthood. This conditioning manifests as patterns that have the power to undermine our self-actualization. Knowing our patterns gives us the power to defeat them!
Wisdom
The mind is not a vessel to be filled but a fire to be kindled. – Plutarch
Curiosity is the cornerstone of our vitality. By inciting a passion for learning from life experience, we cultivate wisdom. This engagement with life helps us understand and navigate its nature and splendor!
Empowered
Spirit
When our body and mind functions at optimal levels, we merge an EMPOWERED SPIRT with the vast creativity of our immaterial essence, the soul, transcending the limitations of time, space, and matter, thus expanding our reality to embrace Divine flow and grace.

Creativity
We are never more fully alive, more completely ourselves, or more deeply engrossed in anything, than when we are at play. – Charles E. Schaefer
To play is to create and to create is to play: nothing expresses our joy and reverence like creativity. Studies show that play increases our resilience, adaptability, empathy, and even helps incite new synapses in the brain. Give yourself permission to channel your inner child!
Ritual
Ritual is a dance with Spirit, the soul’s way of interacting with the Other World, the human psyche’s opportunity to develop relationship with the symbols of this world and the spirits of the other. – Malidoma Patrice Some.
Rituals are practices that manifest awareness and heighten mindfulness. Through the process of preparation and surrender, we open to the possibility that we exist within and are part of a larger, more diverse and creative spectrum of being. Rituals expand reality beyond limited dimensions!
Introspection
Knowing others is wisdom. Knowing the self is enlightenment. – Lao Tsu
When we give ourselves permission to daydream, to listen to our inner wisdom, and internalize lessons so they can be integrated and actualized, we learn to trust ourselves. We believe in our power to manifest what we need and to think critically for ourselves. Introspection is latitude to change!
Devotional Practice
Now is the time to know that all you do is sacred…Now is the time for you to deeply compute the impossibility that there is anything but grace. – Hafiz
Devotional practice stills the mind, opens the heart, and is reverence for our blessings, thus creating receptiveness to our potential. The many ways we practice, allow us the opportunity to step out of the mundane and into the sacred. In practice, we merge the mystery within and without!
Unity
Each one of us needs to discover the proper balance between the masculine and feminine energies, between the active and receptive. – Ravi Ravinda
Within all of us are the complimentary energies of feminine and masculine. Striking a balance between these energetic potentials, is unifying them internally so that all the resources within are at our disposal. We break down gender roles and stereotypes by unifying and embodying all that we are!
